Job Title: Contracts Delivery Manager

Location: Slough

Salary: c£50-£65k

The Job:

• Manage a team responsible for the supply and installation of project works across a variety of workstreams – Sewers For Adoption (SFA) and Packages
• Undertake the role of Contracts Engineer for key projects
• Ensure works are delivered in a timely and professional manner and within agreed budgets of circa £6m revenue
• Ensure the company delivers a consistently high level of service to all customers such as Building companies, contractors, ground workers and electrical companies.

Responsibilities:

• Day to day team management, delivering high volume of small to medium sized projects.
• Manage own and team workload to ensure agreed deadlines are achieved
• Ensure all work is programmed and managed effectively and efficiently by Contract Engineers
• Establish and maintain contacts with customers, especially key accounts – ensuring the customer is kept up to date in a timely manner regarding plans, progress and any issues
• Establish and maintain contacts with the Service Sales team – keeping the Service Sales team up to date in a timely manner regarding plans, progress and any issues
• Provide weekly and monthly forecasts of the revenue income for the department
• Provide comprehensive weekly progress updates
• Ensure the commercial and contractual elements of each contract are understood, utilising expertise of QS.– and works are planned and delivered accordingly
• Liaise with suppliers as required and ensure supplier deliverables are managed effectively
• Attend site meetings as required – for example, to deal with complex projects at design stage or to deal with customer complaint
• Ensure team members fully comply with Health & Safety legislation, policies, procedures and Code of Conduct
• Ensure each team member has annual CPG (Continue, Perform, Grow) goals and individual performance is regularly monitored and discussed
• Coach and mentor team members as required
• Support the Head Of Contracts Delivery and Proposals Engineering with driving continuous improvement across the department
• Support the Head Of Contracts Delivery and Proposals Engineering with driving effective collaboration across the department

Skillls&Experience:

• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required with strong customer focus
• Computer literate with Word and Excel experience
• Experience of the pumping/water industry
