Area Sales Manager

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To achieve annual sales targets as determined by General Management.

To agree business annually and increase market share within an allocated geographic area.

 MAIN DUTIES

Prospecting for new customers and maintaining existing accounts in the following postcode areas:  BB, BD, CA, HD, HG, HX, LA, LS, OL, S, WF

To develop and expand on a long term basis certain nominated  and parent company established Global accounts

Follow-up leads generated by marketing activities.

Assist in the preparation of sales and marketing plans.

Assist in the reporting and forecasting functions on a monthly basis.

Assist in the reporting, forecasting and managing of an allocated industry within the UK region

Provide Industry and product reporting package as determined by the UK & Ireland Sales Manager.
 

Attainments

ONC/HNC Electrical/Instrumentation or proven sales track record

Field Sales Background

Understanding of basic instrumentation

Good understanding of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
