Job Title: Area Sales Manager
This company are a leading provider of plastic and metal piping systems with global market presence.
• Proactively increase the demand and sales for all Company products
• To establish and maintain good relationships with existing and new customers
• To identify and develop new opportunities, projects and contracts
• Achieve area sales targets
• To generate sales throughout the defined region or area on an ongoing basis
• Take overall responsibility of all products and sales
• Develop contact and relationship with customer, major users and specifiers and acquire specification for products as appropriate
• Manage area key accounts and to
– Set sales targets within the key accounts;
– Co-ordinate activities;
– Ensure good communications with all customer decision makers
– Hold regular meetings with customers;
– Handle key account administration.
• Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all customers and provide training and presentations as required
• Provide Sales Manager reports on defined area as prescribed
• Provide technical support and product training as required
• Provide support to the internal teams if required
Qualifications and Experience:
• Good standard of education, with a focus on engineering and/or relevant industry experience.
• Commercial focus, experience of sales and a proven track record of winning major contracts
• Good contacts and relationships with distributors, end users and specifiers.
